Aims

Vicars Cross Dynamos operate teams from Under 6 years of age up to Under 16 years of age. It is our aim to encourage children of all abilities to play football and hopefully improve their skill and understanding of the game.

It is our aim to ensure that children train with others of the same ability in this way we hope they gain a better sense of achievement at coaching sessions.

It is our aim where possible to operate teams between the ages of Under 7 and Under 16, playing in one of the local leagues so that the teams play against children of similar ability therefore ensuring that the experience of playing matches is an enjoyable one.

It is our policy that all of the Team Managers and Coaches gain the 1st4Sport Level 1 Coaching Certificate as a minimum qualification in order to deliver quality coaching to the children.

It is our policy that each age group has its own separate coaching session. The coaching sessions centre on improving individual skill and encouraging teamwork. Teamwork is encouraged through participation in small-sided games, these ensure that the children are involved more and learn to work with other players.

Vicars Cross Dynamos operate a code of conduct for players to promote fair play and respect for each other as well as coaches and referees and opponents. Vicars Cross Dynamos are funded by Subscriptions from players, organised fundraising events such as our Annual 5-a-side competition and penalty shoot out competition and also through the generous sponsorship of local firms.
